Characters
Charlotte Cosac - The daughter of Leocadius, a powerful Warlock who holds great political influence over Seamont, and his non-magical second wife. Charlotte has yet to display any sort of magical powers, but is occasionally overcome by illness, during which times she is visited by a large ghost cat who helps her through her problems.
Maebe Cosac-Sykora - The only living child produced from Leocadius's first marriage with a High Elf. As a half-elf, Maebe's genetics are not normal and she suffers from abnormalities that could be fatal. Her powers are ice based and run so deeply that she becomes ill when her environment is above a certain temperature. As a result, she is forced to confine herself to the Arrowglance Mountain Range, the only place in Seamont cold enough to support her.
Kynn Moonfeather -
Sabina Ballantyne - An activist against the government and for equality. Sabina is homeless and suffers from the Acirassi Virus that infects so much of the lower class.

Politics
The government is Seamont is headed by a Governor, who has absolute control over everything. There is only one branch of government, so directly beneath him are the Enforcers, who are in charge of "keeping the peace." This is a fairly nonsensical way of putting it, though, as their peacekeeping is usually done via violence.
Enforcers are chosen directly by the Governor. When the Governor retires, he picks one of his Enforcers to take his place. If he is to die without picking anyone, the most senior Enforcer will choose, usually choosing himself. Governors and Enforcers are exclusively male.
Because of the autocratic nature of the government, bribery is very easy to get away with and corruption has become common through the ages. Most recently, a very rich and influential warlock, the head of the Cosac House, has been trading money and favors in exchange for political power.

Economics
There is a large gap between the rich and the poor. The rich are very rich and usually make their money by owning plantations or other large scale businesses, while the poor are very poor and make their money by being laborers or craftsmen, if they have any sort of work at all.
Seamont's economy is technically capitalist with no rules restricting business, but the government is so controlled by people that are already rich that people who even show signs of making it big tend to be arrested for unrelated charges.

Society
There are two classes in Seamont, the upper class and the lower class. The middle class is too small to be counted. The upper class is very rich and tends to look down on the lower class. The lower class is about 50% homeless and very poor.
Racism is a large problem in Seamont. There is a lot of hatred between the different species and races, as well as different opportunities. The upper class is entirely made up of High Elves and humans, excluding dwarves. Orcs, Common Elves, and Halfbreeds are all members of the lower class and cannot make their way into the upper class.

Currancy
The standard unit of currency in Seamont is called a 'jewel,' even though it is a silver coin, nothing like an actual jewel. The rest of the currency is as follows.
Fourth - 1/4 a jewel
Piece - 1/2 a jewel
Jewel
Sack - 10 jewels
For reference of their value, a fourth would buy a loaf of bread, and three sacks would buy a horse.

Geography
Seamont's borders are rectangular in shape, longer north to south than it is east to west. The southernmost edge is entirely shoreline, located directly on the Sevit Gulf. The climate is generally temperate in the south, though the winters can get cold. In contrast, the Arrowglance Mountain Range lies in the north and has a harsh, almost arctic climate. It is cold all year, even more so in the winter. It can be truly hazardous to go outside some days. The climate varies according to latitude in the middle.
Points of Interest
Arrowglance Mountain Range - Makes up the northern border of Seamont. Very cold,
Farmland - A large stretch of land in the central western area is used as farmland. The crops grown are about half food items and half magical items that can be sold the magic users for a high price.
Orcrest - The capital city of Seamont, located in the center of the country. The city is mostly built of redstone and is dotted with intricate fountains. Homelessness is very common here, so one must be careful when walking through alleys, lest the disturb someone's "home."
Southcoast Harbour - A large city located on the southern coast. Because almost all trade with other nations goes through Southcoast Harbour, there is a high concentration of Enforcers there at any time.
Points of Interest
Arrowglance Mountain Range - Makes up the northern border of Seamont. Very cold,
- Ironfalcon Mountain - The tallest mountain in Arrowglance. The summit is as cold in the summer as the rest of the mountain range in the heart of winter.
- Maebe's Fortress - The cabin where Maebe Cosac-Sykora, a half-elf with ice powers, lives alone. It is located high up on Ironfalcon Mountain and is rarely visited or even very well known about.
- Silent City - A very small town located in the mountain range. It is mostly inhabited by dwarves and a few brave common humans. People of Silent City are generally reclusive and don't like to be bothered.
- Lochfaire - A village located at the base of the mountain range. The people of Lochfaire are generally there because they hate or fear the government and don't want to be near Orcrest or Southcoast Harbour. Many of them are traders in order to sustain themselves.

- Cosac House - Located in the southeast corner of the city. The Warlock, Leocadius, lives here with his wife, his daughter, and his servants. The house itself is very large, with a wide main section consisting of three floors, and one tall spire. It is surrounded by an iron gate.
- Governor's Castle - Located in the center of Orcrest. The castle is surrounded by high walls in order to keep homeless people and protesters out. The Governor lives here with his family and staff, though the staff are usually housed in the stables outside.
- Pruvia's Oak - A huge, ancient tree located in the deepest part of the forest. A settlement of High Elves has formed around it. It is said to have magical properties, but this may just be from the high concentration of magic that the High Elves produce.
- Forester's Camp - Located in the southeastern corner of Seamont, in a very sparse part of the forest. A group of hunters and trappers, mostly common elves and nonmagical humans, has taken up residence here. They are a friendly bunch, and are always willing to share a meal and an ale with anyone who happens to stumble upon their little camp.
Pruvia's Forest - A forest that covers almost the entire eastern half of Seamont.
Southcoast Harbour - A large city located on the southern coast. Because almost all trade with other nations goes through Southcoast Harbour, there is a high concentration of Enforcers there at any time.
- Tomash - An orcish settlement that borders Southcoast Harbour. Tomash is very dangerous to any non-orcs, and females are advised to go around it, through the forest rather than through it.
